Diagnostic Medical Sonography, BS

Diagnostic Medical Sonography is a specialization of Radiologic Sciences that utilizes high frequency sound waves to create images of specific areas of the body from which pathology may be diagnosed. CBU’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography program will teach students knowledge of anatomy, cross sectional anatomy, and pathology, as well as the skills to manipulate a wide variety of sophisticated instruments. Students will learn how to professionally care for and handle patients in both ambulatory and hospital settings.
