Health and Human Sciences, BS

The BS in Health and Human Sciences program provides students with the foundational skills and knowledge needed to navigate the healthcare field, build health literacy and cross-cultural communication, enhance patient-centered care, care coordination, and identifying and accessing resources to overcome barriers within healthcare systems.Students will gain a broad understanding of healthcare and health management through studies in healthcare systems, health communication, health behavior change, pathophysiology, nutrition, culture, ethics, research methods, and quality improvement in healthcare.Students will be prepared for postgraduate study in health management, public health, social sciences, or entry level nursing programs.
