Film and Cinematic Arts are some of the most influential forces of our time. This major equips students to understand film and diverse screen media as culture-shaping forces and prepares them for careers in both entertainment and commercial media industries. Students develop valuable technical knowledge and experience as well as sharp critical thinking skills and crucial audio-visual literacy. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, with opportunities to create high-quality films, commercial productions, and branded content using state-of-the-art equipment. Students have two concentrations to choose from, Film Production or Commercial and Branded Media, so they can focus on the fields they aim to pursue professionally. By combining storytelling, production skills, and the study of global cinematic arts, graduates are equipped to excel creatively and professionally in a wide range of career paths in the ever-expanding worlds of screen media.
