The Latin American Studies minor prepares students to understand the cultural, historical, social, and linguistic dynamics of Latin America. Drawing on courses in Spanish, history, art, anthropology, and literature, the Latin American Studies minor promotes intercultural competence, critical-thinking skills, multi-perspectival approaches, and interdisciplinary problem-solving. In addition to providing valuable workplace skills, the minor aligns firmly with CBU's mission as the Great Commission University, equipping globally minded students to understand and communicate with diverse peoples near and far about the Gospel.
