Faculty Information

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders houses pre-professional training programs for students interested in pursuing careers in speech-language pathology, audiology, or other related fields.

Our Bachelor of Science degree program prepares students to pursue graduate degrees in the fields of speech-language pathology and audiology. Additionally, our undergraduate program features an optional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant practicum for students interested in pursuing licensure in California as a speech-language pathology assistant.

Our Master of Science degree program equips students to begin a career in speech-language pathology. Students who complete our program have completed both the coursework and clinical practicum to be eligible for state licensure and national certification as a speech-language pathologist. Licensed and certified speech-language pathologists work in a variety of settings and specialize in communication assessment and treatment for individuals across the lifespan.

The Communication Sciences and Disorders faculty are committed to providing excellent classroom and practicum instruction. Students enjoy learning about the professions through the lens of a Christian worldview and by faculty who are experts in their respective fields.
