Faculty Information

The Department of History and Government provides students with a Christ-centered understanding of the past and present to prepare them to influence the world by shaping society's future. Consistent with this mission, the Department of History and Government supplies a theoretical foundation and practical experience in preparation for a wide range of career opportunities.

We offer undergraduate majors in Criminal Justice, History, International Studies, Political Science, and Public Administration and graduate degrees in Criminal Justice and Public Administration. Students are equipped for positions in public and private education, public service, public safety, law enforcement, ministry, higher education, non-profit organizations, and graduate study in various fields including history, law, and political science.

Public administration graduate programs within the department develop in-service practitioners for a range of domestic and international professions within the public and non-profit sectors, and the Master of Science in Criminal Justice prepares students for leadership in law enforcement and related fields.
